Paige MacKenzie A. is the artist behind Goddess Glyphs. Her tattoos are “stunning, dreamy, and unmistakably her.” Paige is a Minnesota-Raised, trauma-informed tattoo artist who began her journey in Denver, CO in 2022. After recently returning home to Minnesota, she continues to cultivate her practice of mindfulness. Rooted in ancient wisdom, Paige ensures each tattoo session is approached with care, intentionality, and a deep respect for the client experience.
Specializing in black and grey, Paige’s style is known for buttery smooth blends, rich blacks, and meticulous detail. Her work exists in an ethereal realm — goddess-like figures, fae folk, insects, celestial bodies, and botanical wonders swirl together into dreamy, magical compositions that flow seamlessly with the body.
With a love for large-scale, custom work, Paige thrives when given creative freedom to build original pieces from the ground up. She also offers pre-drawn flash and enjoys adding unique, palm-sized additions to patchwork collections.
Tattooing is a sacred art form for Paige, and is informed by her multi-disciplinary background as a poet, painter, musician, and former scholar in the fields of Mindfulness and Positive Psychology. Her earliest creative roots were cultivated in introductory painting classes at a local community college while she was still a senior in high school, and the first “buds” of her artistic practice bloomed when she began live-painting at Minneapolis shows and music festivals under the alias Portal of Paige in 2018. As a Body Artist, Paige also draws upon the knowledge gained from the time she spent in 2018 as a volunteer EMT in Chatfield, MN. Today, all of her artistic expressions converge in the spellbinding tattoos she creates.
